DENTRO

Dentro is an accessories brand designed in France, made in Italy, created in 2020 by designer Isa Kauffman. Before starting her own brand, Kauffman used to work at Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Balenciaga.

At its core, DENTRO is about anarchy: putting process at the same level as final look. By the way, 'dentro' means ‘inside’ in Portuguese.

It is an invitation to discover a new perspective in leather goods by taking all the components out of their natural order and exposing what’s supposed to be hidden.

On the outside, the artisanal labor is shown, in the inside the polished exterior remains to be discovered. All parts reverted, all parts became aesthetically relevant; a documentary view of craftsmanship.
