TONS is a store and e-commerce store in Pittsburgh, PA, USA in November 2022. The concept goes beyond a traditional retail experience. Mixing high-end fashion, books, vinyl and beauty, TONS offers a lifestyle rather than just shopping. With instant support from local fashion enthusiasts and Pittsburgh's very own NFL team the Steelers, TONS is quickly making noise in both the local and global fashion scene. At TONS there is something for everyone, whether that’s a small beauty treat or a statement outfit. Each piece on the shelves is handpicked to feel directional, creative and completely wearable. TONS opening was featured on Forbes.com and Complex.com.

Everyday wear is elevated, allowing people to define their own taste from an assortment of some of the world’s most coveted luxury brands, from Acne Studios, Mugler, Rick Owens, Marni, Jil Sander to Maison Margiela, Dries van Noten and Yohji Yamamoto, as well as contemporary brands, such as Enfants Riches Déprimés, Mihara Yasuhiro, Coperni, Who Decides War, Needles Japan, Marine Serre, and Rhude. From sunglasses to street style caps and footwear, everything is designed with unique creative personality from names like visvim, Saint Mx6, and Readymade. TONS exclusively represents beauty brands Aesop and Byredo in Pittsburgh, as well as other wellness brands, so customers can embrace the full TONS experience.

Tons interior was created by NWDS, an interdisciplinary team, established in 2013 and comprising women architects, designers, curators and researchers from cities spanning the world — Tbilisi, Paris, Berlin, Yerevan, Lisbon and Dubai. The spacious, light-filled interior is designed to be a welcoming lifestyle space as well as a shop. On the first floor there is a dedicated room for brands to showcase their work, allowing customers to drink in their story along with a glass of Veuve Clicquot. Upstairs, there is a multifunctional social space, where live events, movie screenings and more invite people to be part of the TONS community, sharing ideas across fashion, art and culture. There’s also a photography studio, where we style our own catalogue shoots for our website and ecommerce listings.
